About him : I find it easier to endure this world if my hands are busy.  I find it easier to endure an existence of bothersome randomness and chaos if I can distract myself with novelty.  And I find it easier to staple than to sew but someday I want to knit.  I find it easier to endure listening to music than to play it.  Listening is one of the priviledges of the living, and I find it easier to listen than to talk.  And I find it easier to write than to listen. 

Pagan spirit in his art : As for Pagan well that is a large large category isn't it?  I find that I can more easily adapt to a community that accepts and often even celebrates all aspects of the natural world.  Not just beauty, which is everywhere around here--but also the organic decay, chaos, and compost, frankly, that goes along with it.  I try to be open to all of it.  Also part of the pagan word and world is the wiccan world, of which I've only barely begun to tap on the glass.  True reality, I think, is when the Kernel and the Seed meet up and give each other their email addresses.
